After a 6 month break from blogging, I am back!  Here is why I quit and why I am back.

I quit because we were making fundamental changes to what we do.  Most of you guys don’t know this but we have really branched into three different service offerings.

1.  Consulting – We work with churches and small businesses to help them increase their operational revenue

We have worked with 33 different churches this year.  We have worked with 8 businesses and 1 non-profit.  We DO NOT DO CAPITAL CAMPAIGNS.  I can do them in my sleep, I just don’t like to do them.  We focus more on helping churches change systematically overtime.  We are seeing crazy results in churches large and small.  Want to increase your revenue?  Email my assistant at rweber@rethinkmoney.org

2.  Accounting – We work with churches and small businesses to help them outsource all of their financial management.

We are just launching this service that has been brewing now for months.  We have so many businesses and churches that we are having to put off until we have all our ducks in a row.  We have some HUGE clients already.  WOW.

3.  Resourcing – We are writing a book right now and speaking at conferences all around the country.

We have a book coming out soon that will be the most practical book on church finances anyone has ever written!  That is our goal!  Me and Joe Sangl are writing it together.

We have changed our name from ReThink Money to the The Change Group.  Why? We needed a broader name that didn’t include the word money.
